The who, how and why of managing Gen Y [Infographic]

Wikipedia defines a Millennial, in part, as a generation marked by an “increased use and familiarity with communications, media and digital technologies.” But we’re so much more than that. We’re diverse, we’re social and we’re wildly ambitious.

The infographic below presents some amazing statistics about my generation, and how our attitudes toward work and career vary greatly from those that came before us. Hat tip to my co-worker, Harrison Kratz, for bringing it to life.

One of the most notable numbers: 1 in 3 Millennials cite social media freedom as a higher priority than salary. Boom.
